Who Is New Beginnings?

New Beginnings is a certified trade school in Indiana that offers students a variety of vocational programs including programming, IT, cyber security, and much more.


Is any computer experience needed to apply?

Although it is helpful, Students do not need to have experience with computers in order to apply.


Is there any age requirement for applicants?

You need to be at least 16 years old in order to apply. If you are under 18, you will need a parent’s signature.


What is the admissions process, and how long does it take?

The admission process is easy and straightforward. After submitting the short online survey, students simply complete an interview with an advisor and enrollment in the selected program. The admissions process can take as little as one hour.


Are career counseling and job placement services available to students?

Absolutely! We are pleased to offer each student lifetime career support and job placement services.


Can someone help me find the training that is right for me?

An NBCT adviser will help each student find the best training program given his or her personal strengths and career goals.


Does New Beginnings offer any free training or courses?

As an authorized Next Level Jobs provider, NBCT can help some students qualify for free computer training courses through the Workforce Ready Grant.

The GI Bill® is a benefit given to service members and veterans to help cover their cost of education and training. At NBCT, many of our veteran students use the GI Bill®. We’re here to help offer you guidance in using any V.A. benefits for which you qualify.


Does New Beginnings offer scholarships or grants?

As an authorized Next level Jobs Provider, we’re happy to be able to offer the Workforce Ready Grant to eligible students.


Does New Beginnings offer assistance to Veterans qualifying for VA Benefits?

Veterans Assistance is available for some programs, and NBCT can help prepare the necessary documents. If you’re interested in learning more about this assistance opportunity, contact our office.

Are courses offered online?

Many of our training programs are offered online and on-site at our local training facility. Call to find out if the program you are interested in is available online.


What kind of flexible scheduling is available?

We pride ourselves on offering flexible scheduling for busy students. Our doors are open in the mornings (8 am to 12 pm), afternoons (12:30 pm to 4:30 pm) and evenings (5 pm to 9 pm) from Monday to Thursday.


Is a computer and any other equipment needed, provided?

All equipment you’ll need for the program is provided on-site.
